  3. Once you've logged into the Travel Sahayata portal, you'll need to choose a service from the list of alternatives, such as:

    • Obtaining a new passport or having a passport reissued.

    • Certificate of Clearance from the Police (PCC)
    • Authentication certificate

  4. In this step, fill the application form.

    • Challan from SBI Bank
    • You can arrange an appointment right away if you pay the passport fee online.
    • In the case of a challan, however, you must take it to an SBI branch and pay the appropriate amount in cash. Generally, a bank needs at least 2 days for verifying the challan’s ARN information.
    • After verification, the Travel Sahayata website will show that the fee was paid successfully.
    • You can check the status of your payment. You'll also get an email with the latest information.
    • Print the Application Receipt, which includes the Application Reference Number (ARN) and the Appointment Number.
      It is not necessary to bring a printout of the Application Receipt with you. During your visit to the Passport Office, you can show an SMS with your appointment details as proof of application.
    • Show up for the interview. To attend the interview, you have to visit the Seva Kendra of Passport or Regional Passport Office (RPO) by taking your original papers.
